New Castle native Dalton Rosta will enter the Bellator stage for the second time in his fighting career and for the first time since his Bellator debut in March which saw him defeat Cody Vidal by opening round TKO.
Rosta, who fights at light heavyweight was considered the top amateur in the nation as he finished his amateur career with a 7-0 record while also going undefeated as an amateur boxer in the heavyweight division.
The 23-year-old Rosta who holds a bachelors degree from Youngstown State University has a birthday in a few weeks and will be looking to celebrate early as he will face off against 35-year-old Egypt native Ahmed Samir Hefny tomorrow night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Hefny will be making his Bellator debut and holds a pro record of 1-1.
Rosta has not been shy to the national MMA media in saying he expects an easy night of work.
The main event of the evening will feature former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir taking on Roy Nelson of The Ultimate Fighter 10 fame.
Fans can watch Rosta improve his pro MMA record to 2-0 starting at 6:00 PM on the Bellator app and can tune into the main card starting at 9:00 PM on the Paramount Network.
