Youngstown native Vic Toney once had a very promising and active career having an unblemished record 5-0 record after his first year and a half of his pro career which started in November of 2014.
Now Toney is facing an almost two and a half year lay off since suffering his lone loss, a lopsided 6-round middleweight bout to 6'5" Sebastian Fundora who is currently 13-0-1.
Lucky for Youngstown boxing fans, the 31-year-old Toney has sensed the time is now to get his career back on track as he will take on Dayton native Will Clemons (4-0, 2 KOs) who now calls Las Vegas home according to his BoxRec in a scheduled 6-round middleweight contest on February 13th at the Westgate Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.
Toney (5-1, 4 KOs) won't be the only one having to shake off some ring rust as the 35-year-old Clemons was inactive during all of 2019 having last fought September of 2018.
Stay tuned for more info on what promises to be a great showdown for Buckeye State bragging rights.
