Danny Rosenberger will get a second chance to fight some hardware in 2019 as he will travel to Hammond, Indiana to take on Chicago, Illinois native Mikey Dahlman for the WBF America's middleweight championship at the Horseshoe Casino.
Rosenberger and Dahlman will meet on Friday, November 1 as part of the Midwest Boxing Showcase being promoted by 4 Champs Promotions.
Dahlman, 27, is currently 8-0 with 7 KOs while fighting opposition which all sport a sub .500 record and having last fought in March when he defeated Lionel Jimenez by TKO.
For the 29-year-old Rosenberger (6-7-4) who trains under Tom Cordell and Sammy Calderon at Downtown Boxing Club, this is a chance for the busiest fighter in Youngstown to string together a 3-fight winning streak and get his record to .500.
Rosenberger last fought in July with a unanimous decision victory over Pittsburgh native Justin Johnson and last tasted defeat in March of this year when he dropped a hard fought decision to Kendrick Ball Jr., a fight that was for the USA New England middleweight title.
